Uniforms
The wearing of school uniform is compulsory. The School Council feels this is practical for the part it plays in developing school identity and tone.
The wearing of a broad-brimmed or bucket hat is compulsory in Terms 1 and 4.
For safety reasons wearing of thongs or open toe sandals is not permitted.
Physical Education is taken regularly and is compulsory as a subject. The most important item is shoes. Sandshoes are preferable. Other clothing should be such that does not restrict free movement.
On interschool sports days or school sports days, children should wear a maroon polo shirt with school logo printed on it, suitable sports shorts and white socks.
Acceptable items of clothing which make up the uniform are as follows.

• Girls’ maroon or black shorts or maroon skorts
• Girls’ black or maroon winter pants
• Girls’ school dress
• Maroon windcheater or rugby top
BOY’S UNIFORM:

ALL OTHER FORMS OF CLOTHING ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
If for some reason your child’s uniform is not available for them to wear, the school will have a bank of clean polo tops and windcheaters which they can wear during the day. If your child is out of uniform a note is also required explaining the reason.
The school maintains the stock of uniforms as a service to parents and supplies them considerably cheaper than commercial outlets. Uniform order forms are available from the office. All prices are subject to alteration.
