If your child needs to take medicine at school it will be necessary for you to provide:

1. The name and grade of the child and what the medication is for.
2. Written instructions detailing dosage and time for the medication.
3. Any storage requirements for the medication. NO MEDICATION IS TO BE KEPT IN A CHILD’S SCHOOL BAG. Where there is special equipment (nebulisers, etc) or procedures, parents will need to come to school to administer the medication to their son/daughter.  Of course, if your child is not well, then the best place for him/her is at home.  On the back page is a list of infectious diseases and the necessary actions.
